A Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Rivers State has issued a warrant of arrest against the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr Nsima Ekere, over an alleged N2.4 billion fraud.
The court presided over by Sir. S. D. Andrew-Jaja issued the warrant of arrest on March 5th, 2019, with charge number PMC/MSC/15/2019, following the ploy doctored by Nsima Ekere to boycott court judgement.
Also to be arrested is the Director of Legal Service of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Kaltungo Moljengo, for conspiracy to prevent and defeat execution or enforcement of a lawful order.
Addressing a press conference in Uyo on Tuesday, a lawyer representing Multi-Intelligence Development Ltd, Barr V. C. Edward Ekpo esq, unravelled the misery behind the arrest warrant.

“We approached the court and obtained judgement from the High Court of Justice, Abuja but what followed was indescribable level of corruption, where Nsima Ekere conspired with Director of Legal Service, Kaltungo Moljengo to defeat the execution of justice”.
Barr Edward frowned at the act which he said was against Criminal Code Act of Section 518(1) and (6) CAP. C 38, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
He warned the people of Akwa Ibom State against allowing such a criminal element to rule the state, noting that it would be a waste of vote as Nsima Ekere is only a candidate fit for prison.
“As it stands today, he is not qualified to stand election. It is our duty to ensure that these people are brought to book to face justice”.
The lawmaker called on the Inspector General of Police to implement the court order and get Nsima Ekere arrested with immediate in compliance with the order of court, and ensure .
