N’Ibom PDP held special campaign flag-off prayer for her candidates… I’M GOD SENT SAYS IFIOK O.S UDOH

Ahead of 2019: Mr. Ifiok OS Udoh, the Nsit Ibom State Constituency candidate of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) has said he’s God sent for the people of Nsit Ibom.

Udoh posited this during the 22nd edition of party prayer meeting tagged Nsit Ibom PDP redemption prayer summit, held recently at the party secretariat in Afaha Offiong the local government headquarters.

The State House of Assembly candidate said that he was a living witness to the efficacy of prayer and expressed optimism that today’s prayer will usher in a smooth victory for PDP in the local government, state and the country at large.

In his words, ‘As said I’m God Sent and believe I will do things according to the will of God, I will not disappoint you. For people who knew me knows that my yes is yes and my no is no. Again I believe in God for whatever I am, is by his grace. I continually thanking God for life alongside his elevation. That’s the more reason I will represent you next year in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly. This is my prayer and so be it in Jesus name”.

The former council Secretary in Nsit Ibom, and Commissioner II, Law Reforms Commission at state thanked the leadership of party for organizing this special prayer summit to pray for him, governor Udom Emmanuel, other candidates of the party and expressed gratitude to God for his achievement which according to him, came as God’s favor and grace. He acknowledged those that assisted him up the rungs, stating that he would ever remain grateful to them for allowing themselves to be used by God.

“I have seen the crowd of party faithful here and together as a family come 2019 we shall deliver. For the fact that I’m gracing the meeting for the first time as the candidate of the party I promise to do well. I’m aware that you always make sacrifice to be here, so I want to sow a seed of 500,000.00 niara as a transport fare back to your different destination”. He said.

Mr. Ifiok OS pleadge his continuous support to the party program financially and otherwise.

Speaking earlier, The Chapter Chairman, Rt. Hon. ( Deacon) Nsikak Ikpe thanked the people for always remaing steadfast in praying for the party, stating that it has laid to continued defection of APC members back to our party. While describing the the candidature of Ifiok OS Udoh as the best thing ever happened in Nsit Ibom, he implored everyone to be proactive by securing their PVC’s, so that they will be able to vote for the party candidates.

According to Mr. Ikpe, “the leadership of the party decided to hold a special campaign flag-off prayer for candidates of the party including His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar for president, His Excellency, Deacon Udom Emmanuel for governor. Others were Sen. Bassey Albert for Uyo Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. ( Barr.) Onofiok Luke for Etinan Federal Constituency and Mr. Ifiok OS Udoh for Nsit Ibom State Constituency”.

“We’re battle ready for the commencement of campaigns declared by INEC from November 18. Our candidates have been handed over to God in prayer believing that come 2019 landslide victory is our portion”. He boasted.

In his homily, the Chaplin PDP prayer summit, Rev. Dr. Mfon Akpan whose text, Do not pass-me-by, came from Joshua chapter 2:1-12, in addition to the first Bible reading taken from Daniel chapter 6 verses 11 through 26 by the wife of the chapter chairman, Mrs. Glory Nsikak Ikpe, said that it’s not him that willeth nor him that runneth, but it’s of the God that showeth mercy.

The cleric, reasoned that if God couldn’t pass-by Ifiok OS Udoh today, that same God will remember you tomorrow and enjoined the people to always let God have his way in their endeavors.

The event was witness by the wife of the chapter Chairman, Mrs. Glory Nsikak Ikpe, Chairman Gorverning Council, College of Education Afaha Nsit, Deaconess Mrs. Regina Ikpatt, Deputy Leader, Nsit Ibom legislature, Hon. Christiana Ekong, Past and Present top government Functionaries in the local government amongst others personalities.
